By offering expert project management and operational support, we free designers to focus on creativity and design while we handle the logistics, team management, and day-to-day tasks. Our goal is to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and support business growth with minimal overhead and maximum flexibility.

Design Assisted was created for the experienced Interior Designer in need of an extra set of helping hands, and for the new designer in need of a little guidance. Whether you have worked in the industry for 30 years or 3 months, we are here for you.

The best Interior Designers know that design projects are more nuanced than picking out fabric and tiles. Let us help you plan, propose, present, and organize. Interior Design should be inspiring and creative. Leave the back end to us.

MEET THE TEAM

We are a team of highly skilled Project Managers with experience working at high-end Interior Design firms in luxury markets. Our backgrounds range from residential + commercial design, true colour expertise, and even construction project management. We work together as a team to give our clients the best possible service while meeting deadlines and managing budgets and we take so much pride in what we do!

Most of the team works remotely from Sunny South Florida, while a few of our team members work from home in South Carolina and Massachusetts. In a world where working remotely has become the new normal we have cultivated long lasting relationships and created partnerships with Designers all over the United States.

My origin story doesn’t begin with a picturesque glimpse into my life as a little girl playing with fabrics or rearranging furniture. I was the kid who took apart the TV remote to see if I could put it back together and dreamed of being a cashier just so I could tinker on a register. I sketched dresses to become the world’s greatest fashion designer, and sang in talent shows. My curiosity for all things creative led me through industries like Marketing, Aviation, Hospitality, and Real Estate until one day, I left it all behind to dive headfirst into the world of Interior Design.

In those early days, I learned firsthand that design isn’t always the glamorous montage we see on TV. I was thrown into the trenches, but I was fortunate enough to work with mentors who had already forged a path and were generous enough to guide me along. My love for design feeds my creativity, project management makes my organized heart happy, and my natural ability to lead has turned me into both a teacher for my growing team and a trusted partner for the Designers we serve at Design Assisted.

Recognizing that many Interior Designers needed help tackling the daily behind-the-scenes tasks that pull them away from their true creative passions, I launched Design Assisted. What began as a one-woman show in May 2020 has grown into a dedicated team offering expert project management solutions. By leveraging cutting-edge technology, we streamline processes and set new standards for efficiency—freeing Designers to focus on their talent for creating beautiful spaces.

Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with top-notch Designers, Contractors, Architects, Mill Workers, Seamstresses, and even High-Profile Celebrities. I’m known for my organization, communication, and my knack for anticipating a client’s needs before they even voice them. I’m also frequently sought after for my insights on design business strategy and team development, because scaling operations while nurturing my own team—and the Designers we partner with—has been central to my journey.

Beyond my professional endeavors, I’m a dedicated advocate for women, minorities, and working mothers. Fostering an inclusive and flexible work environment is a cause close to my heart. I may not have been born into this industry, but every experience I’ve had up to now has led me here—into a community that instantly felt like home.
